Took a chance despite the small optical zone warning, and honestly the narrow pupil really sells that hollow anime look in photos. It does make daily wear a bit blurry around the edges, but I've just been using them for shoots where I'm mostly sitting still.

The grey shade shows up beautifully against my dark brown eyes, exactly the abyss look I was going for. The small pupil design does take some getting used to, but walking with a friend the first time made it totally manageable and the effect was worth it.
