The mesh pattern really sells the whole creepy look, and the red pops even against my dark brown eyes. Vision is definitely narrow through the gaps, so I kept a hand on the wall the whole night, but that’s exactly the trade-off I was ready for.

I knew mesh lenses would block some vision, but the red pattern on my dark brown eyes turned out incredibly bold and creepy. The optical zone really does blur things, so I had my friend guide me around the party—totally worth it for the look though.

The mesh pattern is genuinely intricate—up close it looks like a dark red spiderweb over my brown eyes, and the color pops exactly as pictured. I did need my partner to guide me to the bathroom mirror after putting them in, but for a costume party that's half the fun. They’re definitely a statement
